Please complete the Childcare Waitlist Placement Request Form to be added to the waitlist for referral.

If an opening becomes available matching the specifications of your childcare needs, you will be contacted by the childcare placement/referral coordinator. This waitlist will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis. The reserved openings are exclusively for UCSC employees who are legal guardians of dependent children. If you choose to accept the reserved spot, you will be responsible for tuition as specified by the childcare program. If you choose not to accept an offered spot, please inform the childcare placement/referral coordinator via email. This will allow the space to be offered to the next employee on the waitlist.

Childcare Providers

Childcare providers interested in partnering with UC Santa Cruz to provide priority openings to UC Santa Cruz employees please complete the Childcare Provider Interest Form to be contacted to learn more about the program.

UCSC will provide a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold an opening for up to thirty days, up to two deposits totaling $1000 can be paid per childcare provider. The $500 deposit is not a payment for services.

When a provider notifies UCSC of an opening we will refer an employee from our waitlist who will be eligible to fill the space. The employee will then be responsible for all applicable fees for services.

All childcare providers must have a valid license and insurance.
