Oct292024: Moving Expense Submission
To ensure that our Payroll team has adequate time to process moving expense reimbursement transactions during calendar year 2024 and to comply with applicable year-end tax reporting deadlines, please submit all approved moving expense reimbursement forms and supporting documentation by November 8th to newhirerelocation@ucsc.edu.

Moving expense reimbursement paperwork is initially reviewed and approved within Accounting before documentation is submitted to Payroll.
Reimbursement paperwork submitted after this date will be processed during calendar year 2025.

The Payroll Office's mission is to serve the University's diverse customer base, in collaboration with The UCPath Center, to provide accurate and timely compensation to all staff, faculty, and student employees in an efficient manner. The Payroll Office will audit tax, deduction, and benefit reports to ensure all withholdings are accurate.

In serving our campus community, we monitor and maintain procedural integrity and compliance with Local, State, and Federal agencies, Collective Bargaining Agreements, University policies, and accounting accuracy.

Payroll Is Responsible For The Following Services

Administration of personnel actions and pay adjustments for staff and student employee records in UCPath
Position Management
Student employment facilitation
Timekeeping for all non-academic staff and student employees
