Notification of Sexual Violation and Sexual Harassment Policy to Employers of Subcontracted Employees, Independent Contractors, and Other Employers Present at A UC Santa Cruz location
The University of California, Santa Cruz is committed to maintaining a community dedicated to the advancement, application and transmission of knowledge and creative endeavors through academic excellence, where all people who participate in University programs and activities can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of harassment, exploitation, or intimidation.

The following Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Policy applies to all suppliers and third parties providing goods or services or participating in any programs and activities at a UC Santa Cruz location.

The policy both prohibits suppliers and third parties from engaging in sexual harassment, and protects them from harassment, while they are at UC locations, providing goods or services, or participating in University programs or activities. The University takes sexual harassment seriously. If you experience, witness or have concerns about sexual harassment, you may contact the UC Santa Cruz Title IX Office. Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Year-End Closing Schedule
Our current fiscal year, FY22, will end on June 30, 2022. As we near this closing date, it is important for Divisions/Units/Departments to review recharge and purchasing requirements, and budgets. You will need to be aware of deadlines which must be followed to ensure transactions are processed correctly and in time to meet fiscal year-end requirements.

A detailed calendar of closing events is posted on the Financial Affairs website. Please take the time to review the Fiscal Close 2021-2022 Schedule.

Help Safeguard PII Data
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) should never be routed via email. PII may include any portion of an SSN, banking or medical information, state identification numbers, and more.

Please be sure to review emails, attachments and documents that may contain PII. If PII is identified in a communication, extract and delete the original source immediately, contacting all other parties that may have received it to request that they do the same. For more information, ITS maintains a resource about PII and protecting employee privacy.


If there is a need to securely transfer PII data, UCSC offers the campus use of DocuSign and Filelocker.
